Based in the classic Rapunzel, (written by the Grimm brothers) the girl with the longest hair in the earth, Disney has created a funny version created thinking in the little ones. As we all know the original tale was a little bit cruel and could be really traumatizing for some kids, (me for example), but with this one can spend a good time in family.
The story begins with the narration of Eugene, or Flynn Rider as he wanted to be called. Once upon a time there was a sun ray fell into the earth and created a beautiful golden flower, the flower had the power to heal every kind of sickness, and also to turn time back.
There is an old lady, called Mother Gothel, who was using the power to get younger every time she gets old, and as Flynn Rider says, we have to remember her.
Centuries passed and near to that mountain with the golden flower, a kingdom was built, it was ruled by the beloved king and queen, the couple was about to have a baby when she got really sick, the only way to save her and the baby was finding that golden flower! Luckily Gothel made a little mistake and allowed the soldiers to find it. It Was only until then, that the queen was cured and could have a lovely baby called Rapunzel, with a beautiful long golden hair.
In her desperation Gothel, irrupted into the castle and stole the baby, because she noticed that Rapunzel’s hair had the same powers as the flower.
Sadly after years of search no one could find her… she was hidden in a tower in the middle of the forest thinking that Gothel was her real mother.
The rest of the story deserved to be watched, with Flynn Rider as the most wanted thief in the kingdom and a crazy horse called Maximus wanting to catch him so badly, the villains, the songs…Summing up The magically long-haired Rapunzel spent almost her entire life in a tower, but when a runaway thief stumbled upon her, she discovered the world for the first time, and who she really was.
