On hearing his father, Fermina Daza is forced to travel to visit her cousin Hildebranda a long season to get her away from Florentino, but he works in the telegraph office allowing you to locate and keep in touch with her, returning after a long absence, the idealized image of her lover is confronted by Fermina Daza real man and disappointment makes leave without explanation. Months later marries Dr. Juvenal Urbino and enters high society further away from the insignificant man who magnified their dreams and believed in love.
